Ford’s Guide Service was established in 1995 by Chris Ford. I started my business with Bear Hunters and grew to include: Fishing, Deer Hunting, Lake of the Woods Island Transport and Tours. I have always believed in giving clients a First Class, High Quality Experience at a Fair Price. Having grown up in a resort family I have hunted, trapped, and fished my entire life. I spent five years as a professional trapper and I have been a full-time guide and outfitter on Lake of the Woods in Northern Minnesota for the last fifteen years.
Having worked at various resorts on the Rainy River and Bostick Creek area of Lake of the Woods, I have come to realize that some needs were not being met for clients. So began the newer services I offer. Transportation to and from camps, Fishing and Touring Lake of the Woods in both Minnesota and Canada, and I will strive to give you the Best Quality and Service possible while keeping you Comfortable and Safe. I treat you the way you want to be treated.
